About us
The Haunted Spice Trade Association (HSTA) represents a global membership dedicated to advancing the haunted spice industry.
He unlocked the door and threw it open, confident that this would be the night he would catch the troublemakers who had been playing havoc with his property and his mind. But there were no thieves inside. There was also no sign of a break in the wall. The room, however, was not empty. It was full of a large number of very impatient sacks. You could tell they were impatient from the way they were hopping up and down, breaking into little jigs, and generally showing a disinclination to behave like the normal patient sacks of the everyday world.

License information
Original content on this site is available for use under a CC-BY 4.0 license. This doesn't include the Haunted Spice Trade Association logo or the following exceptions:
- Excerpts from unlicensed sources are fair use and not covered by the CC-BY 4.0 license.
- Images are generally public domain or Creative Commons licensed from their rightsholder.
- Mechanics are not copyrightable and therefore available as public domain.
- Code snippets are available for use under a MIT license.
Why isn't it CC-BY-SA? Viral licenses like Creative Commons ShareAlike or ORC are extremely useful for keeping the gaming hobby open and collaborative. The ShareAlike license of Cairn, for example, led to more great games like Liminal Horror and Runecairn which - because of the viral license - are themselves available for hacking.
- Viral licenses don't mix well; you can't create something based on ShareAlike content and ORC content without violating one of the licenses.
- The content on this site isn't the basis for an entire game, at best there are parts you could include in a bigger project.
- It doesn't make sense to risk a viral license mixing issue for a small inclusion.
